Custom Pocket Felt Hug | Braille Heart | Sensory Plush

These pockets hugs are hand stitched with the option of a name stitched or added in Braille with seed beads or knots.

I created this first for a child in my child’s class who is blind. I keep measurements as close as I can to standard Braille but because it is hand stitched, there can be shifting slightly of the beads or knots. You can choose which you prefer. The word will NOT have the paper on the back like the picture, that was temporary.

The heart is made with a blended merino wool felt and stuffed with cotton and/or poly fill. Front will be a smile with seed beads which gives it a raised effect that one can feel, with the name on the back. Heart is approx. 2” in height.
